This was just released but I suggest you wait two to three months to update to this latest version unless some of the new features you find compelling enough to upgrade immediately. I will do a video soon on the new release if HCSS does not release one. Here is the list of improvements from the “What’s New” help article. The ability to have a backup on the web is a great feature and I am sure the updated User Admin features will be useful too.

Ability to Upload and Retrieve System Data from the Web.

User Admin Improvements.

  • Added a division column in the recode user number screen for Enterprise customers.
  • Fixed an issue where the right click menu would error out for users with Read-Only access.
  • Added the ability to limit access to the About HeavyBid > Run Explorer button.
  • Fixed an issue where opening system password setup would blank out respect group profiles for SAAS customers.
  • Fixed an issue where some read-only users could still run Compute Prices from Estimate History.
  • Fixed an issue where some users would have access to the tools menu when an estimate was not open without Tools Menu access.

  • (WASHDOT) Added the ability to copy the non-tax fields from estimate history.
  • (WASHDOT) Added the ability to change the non-taxable status in Change Activity Data and Change Biditem Data.
  • Added the biditem and activity non-tax checkboxes to the import and export from excel.
