Why did I attend a course for an accounting software I don’t use?

While I train companies on how to setup and use HeavyBid, it is rare for me to see the accounting side of the equation. Foundation Software let me attend their college in Orlando where I got sit with about 100 accounting professionals from all other the country. I had a blast and I learned a tremendous amount of useful information.

Course was taught by Scott Kern who did a great job of addressing a wide range of subjects. I will be posting some topics as it relates to construction accounting and estimating as it is critical for successful construction companies to understand how the two disciplines are so vital to the health of their company.
