I always preach good maintenance of HeavyBid. It cannot just run on its own and one thing that should be done on a quarterly basis (my opinion) is reindexing the Master and System-Wide files. Reindexing can make HeavyBid run faster especically in a multi-user system. What happens over time when people don’t log off properly on the server version is locked files are orphaned that can slow down HeavyBid. Very easy to correct but you have to tell your IT person that this condition exists so they can correct up. If you reindex the system wide files and get an error than most like this condition exists.
