In Quote Folders there is a function that requires the estimator to update the quote folders from the current estimate information. It is called “Estimate has Changed<\/em>“. The default is that it will show you only the actions that can be modified. For example<\/g> the “Faster” option will show you only items that there is an option from the estimator to accept the changes or not to update or even change Folders that the resource will be brought into. But the “Faster” option will not show what will be updated and there is no option. I recommend that the estimator select the 2nd option so that all changes can be seen. If quantities are about to be updated I would like to know that. And if I want to go check something at that point then I just cancel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really don’t any speed difference between the two options. Below, the 1st screen shot<\/g><\/g>,<\/g> shows the “Faster” option. The 2nd shows the “Complete List” option. Unfortunately<\/g> this has to be set for every estimate. It will save the setting but if you change estimates you will have to reset it .<\/g> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many options available in Quote Folders that I find estimators that have no formal HeavyBid training don’t know about or don’t take advantage of. Quote Folders in my experience is the first HeavyBid feature that gets dropped from being used by the team if estimators don’t get trained.
