When a vendor invoices for equipment, sales tax is usually added but that is not all. Here are the additional charges that the customer added to the monthly rental fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>City Tax = 0.13%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surcharge  = 1.5%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Sales Tax = 6.25%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local Sales Tax = 2.00%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental Fee = 1.5%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Total of above was 11.38%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My recommendation is to get some invoices and see what the added charges are over the rental quote by time period. I would just put it in the sales tax percentage to be visible to the estimator. Be sure to check the box at the bottom for &#8220;Do not apply sales tax on EOE&#8221; as the rental company does not usually provide expenses such as fuel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"445\" height=\"730\" src=\"http:\/\/heavybid.ewksol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Equipment-Tax.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4136\" srcset=\"https:\/\/heavybid.ewksol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Equipment-Tax.jpg 445w, https:\/\/heavybid.ewksol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Equipment-Tax-183x300.jpg 183w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 445px) 100vw, 445px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another option is to apply an Outside Rent Factor in the Rent tab under equipment setup.
