If you are a regular reader of my blogs you know I like the internal spreadsheet (SpreadSheet Gear) in HeavyBid. But honestly there are a lot of spreadsheets in the list that you will never use such as all the Metric ones (unless you are in Canada). I suggest deleting the spreadsheets that will never get used so that it will encourage users in your company to utilize the internal spreadsheets since the listing will be a easier to navigate. And it will prevent someone using the metric spreadsheets also unintentionally. The spreadsheets are in the directory X:\/HEAVYBID\/HCSS\/CALCTEMPLETES\/STANDARD where X is your HeavyBid directory. If you want you can copy the directory to another location in case you want to use a deleted spreadsheet later. Now delete all the metric based spreadsheets and take a hard look at the remaining ones. Trust me you will never use the “Liquid Application” spreadsheet.\u00a0I would guess you can delete at least half of the\u00a0remaining\u00a0spreadsheets once you review them. Now the list will be much smaller and not so confusing. \u00a0Here is my list.<\/p>\n
