Are you inputting the same materials on the fly for every estimate? To increase your efficiency do the following. When your estimate has been completed get a list of the created materials/subs and move them into the system wide codebook.  Two ways to do this. First to get the list go to Edit>Copy to Material Codebook.  The list will contain all the codes not found in your system wide codebook. You can right click in the list and send it to Excel to get a  printout. Then just go into the system wide codebook and add them manually using the list. Or you can use the same screen (Copy to Material Codebook) and drop and drag to where they should go. With a little practice the latter is fast and quick. If you do this slowly you will build out and complete your System Wide Material Codebook.
