Many estimators today work in or out of the office on laptops that don’t have a dedicated keypad. Personally, I don’t like the wider keyboard that have a dedicated number pad.  The solution is very cheap – a separate keypad that is either USB or wireless. Amazon has some good ones for less than 10 bucks. When I know I will be working on a lot of number input I connect mine up to be more productive.
