Judging from current events overseas the price of fuel is going to go up. Many HCSS customers work on projects that are equipment-intensive and if that is the case then fuel usage is high and certainly a significant cost to the construction budget. Even a dollar a gallon increase can adversely impact the project’s construction budget. That is why I always encourage Advanced and Comp Version users to set up equipment with fuel usage (and not the fuel portion as $/hr). With a few keystrokes you could then change the cost of the fuel which will prompt you to update the equipment EOE costs. And you can revise it back to its current value and evaluate the cost difference and risk if you remain at current market rates. So take advantage of this feature. You should see a price for fuel and in the “Hourly EOE Consumption Rates” a value under “Fuel” should be present”.
