“Version” of HeavyBid refers to the three levels of HeavyBid that HCSS offers. They are the Basic, Advanced and Comprehensive. Recently I was at a new customer who quickly purchased Basic and after about the first hour I realized that they needed the Advanced version. By the end of the first day they purchased Advanced and the next day of training was partially spent setting up the upgraded feature set. The Advanced gave them Insights, connection to HeavyJob data (which they are going to purchase in the near future), Filters, Estimate Management and much much more. HCSS salespeople do a great job in evaluating what version their customers need but until you sit down in a customer’s office it is difficult to really understand their business and what version will work best for them. My opinion is unless you are a very simple company with one estimator the Advanced version is the sweet spot for entry. There are just too many features now that have been added in the last few years that justify the added cost. Not sure what version you have and need?
