I always tell HCSS customers that all software especially products like HeavyBid has to be managed. A part of that is knowing when updates come out and timing the update so that the team is not impacted if they are in the middle of a large estimate and then getting what new features are available to users. HCSS has been busy improving credentials so that each user can get updates that they want to know about. Just go to hcssapps.com and sign in. Call tech support if you don’t have a login and they can assist you. Now click in the upper right-hand screen as shown below on HCSS Roadmaps.

This will bring up a screen that shows upcoming product improvements but what you want is to subscribe to notifications.

Who responsibility is it to make the decision to update to the latest version? It is not IT’s decision but should be left up to the estimating manager or at least the main HeavyBid user. Then IT is given the instructions on when to update. So take advantage of product notifications.
