To start off the Year 2022 why not take a look at the default settings in the Summary Screen for Master Estimate you are going to use for the new year’s estimates? So often when I am in a client’s master estimate they really haven’t put much thought into the options available. I am working on my presentation for 2020 User Group Meeting (you should come) and here is one of my slides.

What I am trying to emphasize is let the options in SUMMARY produce unit prices that are complete! If you get into the BID PRICING Screen and have to spend a lot of time revising unit prices then you probably are not taking advantage of SUMMARY.

You ever used a dull chain on a chainsaw? It is the worst – like nothing happens. Same thing when you don’t take the time out and optimize the settings in HeavyBid like those in SUMMARY. Schedule a day this in the next week or two and really dig into SUMMARY.
