In my travels training estimators, there is a level of frustration with the rising labor, fuel, and material prices. But less than 30% of HeavyBid users have EOE broken out to a fuel burn per hour. If fuel usage is set up then it is easy to just adjust the fuel price to the current value or at least a value that might represent the value when the project is underway. Leaving your equipment priced the same as you did even 6 months ago is just eating into the profit. Most of my Blog followers have the Advanced or Comprehensive version of HeavyBid so fuel usage can be set per equipment piece. How long does it take to set the fuel usage per equipment resource? Even a long list can be done in a few hours.
