I could not find this subject on the HCSS Academy, which is my first rule for my new effort of making Youtube videos. There are many reasons for setting up parent-child biditems; now you can even price the first child biditem. Some of the reasons are:

  1. You need more organization for a group of activities. Group them logically in child biditems.
  2. Parent Biditem is a different unit of measure than what you want – make a child with a unit of measure you are familiar with so unit costs can be checked.
  3. Child Items can be different alternates.

I am sure I have missed some reasons, but an excellent feature to be experienced in setting up and using.
