This is a really good video on the HCSS Academy that I highly recommend any contractor that uses AASHTOware for their DOT bids. This was done by Aaron Allshouse who is the estimating Business Solutions Supervisor for HCSS. He knows HeavyBid well but also knows the estimating functions that users utilize that occur outside HeavyBid. I find users who don’t follow specific workflow with importing the DOT bid items and export back the unit prices have reoccurring problems. Even if you use this now take a minute a watch this video.
