Once an Activity Codebook is in place there are usually activities that have to be added. One method is to go ahead and make it on the fly in the estimate and then add it later to the Activity Codebook. This also holds true for material. This keeps the Activity Codebook current and like all estimating setup it is a work in progress. You will have to recode as you add the activity to the codebook. Before you start copying you will want to check out the options. You might want to also copy the materials to the codebook but the material code has to be already in the material codebook before adding the activity with the material. See the screens below.
